Had the weirdest dream last night My friend and I were in a mall and found this shop ed Whack a Mink Stole where rich women whack the mink for their clothing. It was a really sad place with dead minks all around. We stole the woman who works there's purse and ran off.

Do you think it means you are gay? Just kidding. What a sad dream. I hate having that kind of dream that stays with you.

Well, last night I dreamed that I was hanging out with Jennifer Saunders (!) and talking about her work. But I also dreamed a bout a marsh planet ruled by evil men who worshipped the (not evil) geese that populate the planet, and would capture you and force you to be reborn by burying you in a pit and then electrocuting you. We were running away from those guys! (different dream, no Jennifer)

I used to compose tunes as I drifted into sleep and then had forgotten them in the morning. Now I have no more tunes in my head,I've used them all up

Okay... Here's one from a few nights ago: I was in my Grandmother's kitchen, on a warm summer morning in Penfield NY. The windows were open and the breeze was playing with her handmade lace curtains making beautiful light mosaics on the pages of the recipe book I was perusing... (Grandma Irene was a sublime baker.) I came across this recipe written in her meticulous script: One Dash Bread. Equal parts: Nellie Olson, Animal Lover. Lucy Van Pelt (Gay version). Non-filtered Dorothy Parker. (With clean hands) Knead thoroughly, let set to rise in a cool, shady place. Bake in a buttered bread pan.

geese are evil! evil! with their little beady eyes and those smug looks on their faces.

Noooo - They're adorable bad-asses! They're loyal to their buddies and mates They're incredibly maternal/paternal (most goose agression is because they're protecting nests/young) And who could say no to these faces?

The geese in my dream were like real geese - the geese in these photos - regal and kind of above the machinations of men. The men sure were evil, though!

Oh, I do.... Describing them in some kind of coherent narrative is another story... Mine often mix people and places from past experiences that should not go together... That "Old Man Stone" from your photo was in my dream selling lemon-ice at my local farmer's market last night.
