I need help to gain weight I know, I know, nobody feels too bad for me but this is annoying. I have lost between 10 - 15 lbs since my big move and I no longer fit any of my clothes. Yes, I should be happy but I like fitting my clothes and now I have to go and buy new clothes and I am too cheap. What food is your best weight gain food?

Agree, Ben & Jerry's very good also, when I was told to lose weight the nutritional consultants at gym said not to eat fruit (or anything else for that matter) before bedtime. Not sure why, but it helped with weight loss. So how about Ice Cream before bed? (i wish i didn't have to lose weight!)

Soy anything. Try making a soy based alfredo sauce - that'll do it! With chives and roasted red peppers. mmmmmm. Avacado Olive Oil Pasta with pesto sauce I'd encourage you to focus on higher fat veggies with oils that have some benefits to the body. Starchy veggies like potatoes, sweet potato fries, corn, carrots etc. Failing that, a good box of Turtles chocolates should add about x lbs...

That alfredo sauce sounds good

recipe: I block of silken, soft or medium tofu. x tsp garlic (or to taste) x pinch nutmeg x pinch cayenne pepper x/x cup soy milk that won't separate in heat (like Silk) x/x cup parmasean soy topping (or real parm if you like... I'm using the vegan recipe here) Process above ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth. Saute challots. Grill x sweet red pepper (chopped or diced) I love my george forman grill. you can saute in a wok if you don't have a grill Add alfredo sauce to veggies to heat. Add more soy milk if it's too thick - I can't remember if it s for x cup or x/x cup, so start with half and add more. You can also add some onion powder to taste, some black pepper if you like. It's pretty easy. Add to fresh pasta! (Toss pasts in a bit of olive oil for extra fattyness) Enjoy!!!

maybe it's x cup parmesean. Just taste it as you cook. It's a pretty easy & flexable recipe.

Bertha: Go vegan I've gained x pounds since I went vegan from the soy and nuts. OOO! Eat nuts! Cashews, walnuts etc. Seriously, I'm having a hell of a time getting this x lbs off, lentils and beans aren't exactly ideal weight loss foods either. I replaced all the lean animal protein I was eating with higher fat vegan alternatives, now I'm paying the price! If I could just stick to McDougall... :(

that's because most people have this idea that vegans eat nothing but salad. There's this steriotype of the anemic, malnourished vegan.
