what did you do this weekend? i want to live vicariously through the fo'. i laid on the couch and watched tv (not feeling well).

Saved Lives I worked a 24 hour shift this weekend with my first aid squad. 8am Saturday until 8am Sunday. Sunday afternoon I played with the dog, returned some shoes at the mall. Working another shift right now 6pm sunday until 6am Monday morning. did I mention this is an all volunteer squad?

a lot of fo'ers volunteer their time in a wide capacity of areas. most of them don't post in search of praise. just sayin.

I napped. Tried to clean off my kitchen table. Napped.

cleaned house, ran errands hung with my , cleaned the fish tank. The usual suburban dyke mom stuff. I want to wash the dog but I trimmed one of her nails too short (I feel terrible) and the damn thing bled so much and so long I am afraid to get her wet and have it start again.

aw, poor thing her and you. did you ever do that to one of your ? it's the worst! you should get one of these: as seen on tv!

there's no way in hell Griffin would let me near his nails with anything motorized.

hilarity I did not watch the video in full, can you (attempt) it on cats too? I'd love to see that. I am SURE any cat video tape would star a heavily sedated feline.

was she indoor/outdoor? i never trimmed my cats' nails (when i had cats), but it seems that indoor cats need them trimmed. i guess they don't get to scratch them enough?

I have cardboard scratchy things for my cats I never trim their nails, they'd freak. I do trim the rabbits' nails though.

when i was x years old at naptime one day i dreamed that my mom cut the ends of my fingers off (not my nails, my fingers) with a big shiny pair of silver scissors. snip! snip! snip! snip! snip! it was a bad dream.

so, no manicure then?

I take care of my own nails thanks and they are lovely and trim and filed and nice.

i keep mine short so i haven't been in the habit of manicures, but! i recently found a super cheap beauty school nail place where it's $x. so my nails are bright pink right now :-) lesbian short, but PINK!

my ex came back from a family visit with translucent pink polish on. she and her female relatives were bonding at the nail salon. which is nice. but i couldn't have sex with her until she took it off. ;p
